Figure 1 specifies block test data for Ø 12 mm seale steel rope, investigations following project BLP2 of O.I.P.E.E.C. Visual comparison of the results with block load patterns /Fig.2/ hardly justifies the distribution obtained. Therefore, further analytical evaluation of fatigue tests carried out at the Central Mining Institute has been provided.
