The endurance, in particular the bending endurance of wire ropes is the main concern of OIPEEC. Therefore from the beginning it has been the aim of this organisation to develop a test method producing comparable results, so that tests in bending machines of different laboratories should give the same number of bending cycles N if the test conditions are the same.
